Europe day

The Georgian Farmers’ Association traditionally joined the large-scale celebration of Europe Day. This year, the Association’s space stood out with a diverse range of educational and informative activities, drawing significant interest from visitors.

The concept of the “Pocket Garden” attracted particular attention at the event. Guests had the opportunity to learn about various vegetable crops in detail and were given seeds to easily set up their own healthy gardens right on their balconies.

The Association also introduced novelties for visitors interested in the technology sector. A themed quiz on agritech was held in the space, and the winners were awarded the Association’s latest book, AGRITECH AI.

On the same day, an urban gardening workshop and a presentation of the AgriVET application were held in the outdoor area in collaboration with our partner, World Vision in Georgia. Everyone who downloaded the app on-site received symbolic gifts from the Association.

In the exhibition and sales area, two member farmers of the Association showcased their products. The improvement and development of their production processes were made possible through the EU-supported project, “Enhanced Agricultural Practices and Consumer Awareness (CAPCA).”
