Nino Zambakhidze
Since 2012, the founder and chairwoman of the Georgian Farmers’ Association. As well as Founder and CEO of Unity Apolitical Academy operating in CAMCA region and Lebanon. Nino has many years of experience in working at managerial positions in the business sector. Is Founder if several organizations and startups Holds advisory, supervisory/director and board member positions in the non-governmental, governmental or private sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Tbilisi Technical University and a Master’s degree in business administration from Grenoble School of Business Management (France). She has also received a Diploma in Business Management and Administration from Cambridge International College. Nino has completed a number of international programs, among them: Stanford University Leadership Development Academy Program “Public Policy in Private Sector Development”, Swedish Management Institute Program “Sustainable Business Development”, Rumsfeld Foundation and Central Asia Caucasus Institute “Silk Road Sciences” Program, and Oxford University Saïd Business School “Transformational Leadership Competition” program. She was the first female leader in the region – the honorary coordinator of the organization “Invest in the Future” under the patronage of Hillary Clinton. In 2017 was Named by the World Economic Forum as Young Global Leader, 2018 received the title of Entrepreneur of the Year by the Grenoble School of Economics. The winner of the honorary award of the “Mercury 2011” woman entrepreneur of the year at the National Business Awards.

Tamar Toria
Tamar Toria joined the Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA) in 2015 and has since shaped its strategy while representing farmers’ interests nationally and internationally. With over 25 years in agriculture and development, she has worked with the Ministry of Agriculture, USAID, the UK’s Department for International Development, the Millennium Challenge Fund, and other partners to expand opportunities for farmers.
Tamar also chairs the Sector Skills Organization Agro Duo and facilitates the World Farmers’ Organization’s Working Group on Climate Change, bringing farmers’ voices to global discussions. She holds a master’s in public administration from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), a Mastery of Management Graduate Diploma in Corporate Strategy and Planning from Cambridge International College, and degrees in English language and literature from Ilia Chavchavadze State University. She has completed the Unity Apolitical Academy in the Caucasus Public Leadership Program, Stanford University’s Leadership Academy for Development, the USDA Cochran Fellowship Program in agribusiness management in Fresno, California, and Mashav’s International Course on Climate Change in Haifa, Israel, among other international and local certificate programs.
Rati Kochlamazashvili

Rati Kochlamazashvili
Rati Kochlamazashvili joined the Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA) in 2020 as a Deputy Chairman. He oversees the smooth operation of GFA’s regional offices, leads farmer advocacy efforts, and manages the planning and implementation of research and development projects. Representing GFA both nationally and internationally, Rati actively voices the association’s positions in policy discussions, stakeholder meetings, and media engagements.
He heads the Farmers’ Council, a platform uniting over 20 sectoral associations and serving as GFA’s main mechanism for protecting farmers’ interests. In addition, Rati runs a small family farm in the Kakheti region.
With extensive expertise in agricultural and rural development policy planning and evaluation, he has advised international organizations such as the World Bank (WB), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the German International Development Cooperation (GIZ).
Rati was Deputy Head of the Agrarian Policy Research Center at the ISET Policy Institute. Earlier, in 2012–2013, he participated in an agricultural exchange program in the United States, later serving as a junior scientist at the University of Minnesota.
Rati holds a master’s degree in economics from Tbilisi State University, having conducted his thesis research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from TSU. He has completed numerous local and international certification programs in economics, agrarian policy, leadership, and management, including Teaching Fellow and MASHAV courses in the Czech Republic and Israel, as well as leadership training through FORWARD Academy and the LEO Institute in Georgia. Rati also taught Principles of Economics at the University of Georgia and Ilia State University.
