The regional offices of the Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA) have been operational since 2022. Their primary function is to provide on-site consultations to member farmers. Additionally, the regional offices assist in the implementation of GFA projects.
Currently, the Georgian Farmers’ Association has three regional offices located in Telavi, Kutaisi, and Akhaltsikhe.

Valeri Gelashvili
Valeri Gelashvili has been a member of the Board of the Georgian Farmers’ Association since September 2017. Since January 2022, he has served as the coordinator of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Office, working within the framework of the Association’s projects.
Valeri Gelashvili has been involved in projects implemented by both international and local non-governmental organizations since 1997. His roles have included Agriculture Specialist, Logistics and Procurement, and Community Development Mobilizer for “Care – International in the Caucasus”; and Business Management and Development Officer at the Regional Development Association.
Valeri graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Technical University.

Nana Mikeladze

Nana Mikeladze
Nana Mikeladze joined the Georgian Farmers’ Association in 2022 and currently holds the position of Mobilizer at the Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Office.
Since 2016, Nana Mikeladze has been employed by the Regional Development Association, a program initiated by the state to promote micro and small entrepreneurship.
She possesses extensive experience in journalism, public relations, and education.
Beginning in 2012, she has been actively involved in implementing various educational projects, primarily aimed at integrating the residents of Samtskhe-Javakheti. Nana is a recipient of numerous awards in writing competitions and is recognized as a top speaker in debate tournaments. In 2019, she participated in a study visit to America as part of the “Open World” program.
Nana Mikeladze holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology and Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as a Master’s degree in Linguistics.

Miranda Managadze

Miranda Managadze
Miranda Managadze joined the Georgian Farmers Association in 2024 and currently holds the position of Mobilizer at the Kutaisi regional office.
From 2010 to 2015, Miranda Managadze worked with the Georgian Scout Movement Organization within the ‘Micro and Small Entrepreneurship Promotion Program’ as the coordinator for Western Georgia. In 2015, she continued her work in the ‘Produce in Georgia’ initiative, serving as a Business Development Officer in Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi, and Kvemo Svaneti. In 2020, she joined the Imereti Development Center as an Employment Consultant, and in 2023, she assumed the role of Facilitator of Economic Empowerment at the organization ‘World Vision.’ She is a lawyer with extensive professional and educational experience.
Since 2010, she has been actively involved in various educational projects aimed at strengthening the skills of young people in the Imereti region, equipping and employing women who are victims of violence, single mothers, prisoners, persons with disabilities, and aiding in the socialization and rehabilitation of individuals on probation. She also provides guidance to novice entrepreneurs on starting a business, administration, and drafting business plans.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Criminal Law, and a general specialization in Law.

Vakhtangi Kadagidze

Vakhtangi Kadagidze
Vakhtangi Kadagidze joined the Georgian Farmers’ Association in January 2022 as a Senior Mobilizer at the Telavi regional office. In the previous year (2021), he served as a Community Liaison Officer at Action Against Hunger, implementing an ENPARD-supported project in Akhmeta Municipality. Additionally, in 2021, he worked as a CENN project coordinator in the Kazbegi and Tetritskaro municipalities. From 2016 to 2017, he was employed by a local NGO in Germany as part of the Brot für die Welt volunteer program. Vakhtangi has extensive experience in planning and implementing community and youth projects.
Vakhtangi is an alumnus of Ilia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
