Study Tour | “Ecological Georgia – Agriculture of the Future”

From February 11 to 17, Ilia Kunchulia, Certification Specialist at the Georgian Farmers’ Association, participated in a study tour organized within the framework of the Naturland project “Ecological Georgia – Agriculture of the Future”(KVP Georgia), implemented by the German Association for Organic Agriculture.

The international organic trade fair BIOFACH, held in Nuremberg, is a large-scale event that brings together various conferences, presentations of innovative products, and international producers — including participants from Georgia.

This year, for the first time, a member of the Association — organic farmer and founder of Bio Almond Georgia, Tornike Mchedlishvili — took part in the exhibition. With the support of the Georgian Farmers’ Association, he obtained GlobalG.A.P. certification in 2024, enabling his products to access supermarket chains across Europe.
