On April 28–29, in Izmir, Turkey, the Certification Specialist of the Georgian Farmers’ Association, Ilia Kunchulia, and the project’s Greek consultant, Prodromos Kalaidzis, participated in the annual meeting of the BioValue project (an agent-based simulation tool aimed at enhancing biodiversity in agri-food value chains — from farm to fork).
As part of the project, participants discussed a digital tool that enables the assessment of biodiversity within value chains. The Georgian Farmers’ Association has been actively involved in the research process related to methodologies for analyzing agri-food value chains.
The BioValue project is funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme and is being implemented in 12 countries with the participation of 17 partner organizations, including the Georgian Farmers’ Association.
