On May 21–23, the international exhibition “Smart Farm Korea 2025” was held in South Korea. The exhibition was dedicated to showcasing smart agriculture technologies and innovations in Korea.
At the invitation of the organizers, the Deputy Chairperson of the Georgian Farmers’ Association, Rati Kochlamazashvili, participated in the event.
Within the framework of the conference, a memorandum of future cooperation was signed between the Georgian Farmers’ Association, the Korea Smart Farm Industry Association, and the exhibition center JM Company
“South Korea’s agriculture, with land fragmentation and small-scale farms, is very similar to the reality in Georgia. Despite the small land areas, Korean farmers achieve high productivity through the smart farm concept and the use of modern agrotechnologies. That is why we believe that cooperation with Korean partners will significantly support Georgian farmers — giving them the opportunity to improve production efficiency and, consequently, increase their income,” stated Rati Kochlamazashvili.
The exhibition was funded and organized through collaboration between the Korean
government and the private sector, and brought together more than 100 companies from Korea and other countries.
