In 2018, with the support of the Reserve Fund of President of Georgia, Georgian Farmers’ Association implemented a project “Book – Pathway to Becoming a Farmer”. The aim of the project was to improve the knowledge of those interested in agriculture in rural Georgia. The book contains information about over 60 types of crops and is now available to the citizens of rural communities interested in becoming farmers. Within the frameworks of the Memorandum of Understanding, the book became available in various departments and organizations of 10 regions of Georgia. The Farmers’ Association, with the support of The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, The Ministry of Agriculture of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, LEPL Service Management Agency distributed the book across Georgia. The books were also distributed to the association’s partner colleges, consultancy companies, and regional NGOs.
